We loved our stay near Savannah and enjoyed visiting the local coffee shop for breakfast. It’s nice that the location allowed us to jump into adventures at Jekyll and St Simon Islands, making it an easy base for family fun.
In my wife’s opinion, a soundproofing improvement would be great.

Had an awesome time with friends! We explored great spots like the Sea Palms Resort Golf Course and enjoyed the local dining scene. The staff was super friendly, and the place was clean, making our stay super comfortable. I recommend checking out the nearby parks for a good time. Honest tip, book early for the best rates!
One thing to note was the Wi-Fi connection, which was a bit spotty during our stay. It made it hard to plan our next adventures online.

Charming, Charming, Charming
This stay felt like a little slice of heaven! The Beautiful King Room had amazing views of the river that I could stare at all day. Plus, with 24/7 coffee and water access, it turned into my cozy little retreat.

missingWrote a review on Aug 01historical charmunique ambiancethin walls
Despite some maintenance quirks, the room offered a character that felt genuine and tied to the local heritage.
Walls so thin you could easily hear conversations from the neighboring rooms, which kept us up late into the night. The pressure washing outside started too early, disrupting any chance of a peaceful morning. The bed felt overly soft, sinking in too much for my taste—it almost swallowed me whole. Shower drainage could be better as the basin backed up slightly while washing, indicative of the building's age and plumbing quirks. Also, forget about breakfast. it was supposed to come with the stay but didn’t, and the price charged was on the high side compared to others in the area.

This place suits me perfectly! With free parking, air conditioning, and flat-screen TVs, it offers everything I need. On my first visit, staff gave great taxi tips. Highly recommend the VIP check-in. I'm coming back for Easter!

Oh boy, that breakfast at Nautica Joe's Cafe was a knockout! Freshly brewed coffee and fluffy eggs to kickstart our day. Plus, the vibe at the inn was lovely, with a gorgeous view of the river on the back deck. We made some great friends there too!
Ain't gonna sugarcoat it, some rooms felt a bit neglected. The property seemed to lack that TLC, with knee-high grass and less-than-clean floors. And while the location is cool, those pesky noises from guests and the rooster made it a bit lively at times.
